This is an interrobang.  If you already know what this is…you must be an english major out and proud punctuation nerd.

For the rest of us, the ‘bang’ (slang for interrobang)  is the beautiful love child of ! and ? thought up by an ad man in the swinging 60’s. He thought it would look better if copywriters could convey a suprised rhetorical question with a single punctuation mark…like,

You did what to Steve’s weasel‽

How many body pillows does a woman really need‽

What did you think the would happen using that thing in a bathtub‽
